Nancy Anne Starks grew up in Costa Mesa, California and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. After graduating with her degree, she worked as a professional payroll processor for close to 20 years. She did this for various companies that required assistance with upgrading their payroll processing software programs.
In 2004, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and has the RRMS form of it. MS is a disorder of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and is considered an autoimmune disease. As a result, she has considerable knowledge of it both as a chronic medical condition and as a patient of it. This has allowed her to bring expertise on how to cope with this very complex condition. She wrote this devotional book specifically for readers with chronic conditions. It is her aspiration that these readers will be encouraged by the subject matter in an engaging and integrative format.
She currently lives with her husband in Mission Viejo, California.
